Training/Education
Preparing to work in the composites industry can start even while a student is in junior high or high school. Summer Science Camps often include hands-on experience in composites. In high school, Materials Science may be available as an option to meet a “3rd Science” credit requirement. Technical Colleges, such as those in the Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT) system train Composites Technicians, and nearby community colleges and four-year universities offer two and four year degrees in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, etc.
